Need Something Lighter, But Still Secure?

This mailbox has AMAZING security features, without the extreme weight of our other mailboxes. Made of 1/8” thick steel (11 gauge), it’s got all the same security features as our heavier mailboxes, but only weighs 38 pounds. It’s still thicker than other locking mailboxes on the market, with the Fort Knox recessed doors to prevent prying! It has a 1” continuous welded steel hinge. The M1-LT holds approximately 1-1.5 weeks of mail.

If you are tired of replacing standard hardware store locking mailboxes, and are ready for Ft Knox security, then the M1-LT can be a great fit! It’s our “entry-level” mailbox, but there’s nothing “average” or “basic” about the M1-LT! We’ve been selling this mailbox for approximately 9 years now, with FANTASTIC results.

This is How It Works!

The mail carrier inserts your incoming mail into the open slot at the top (10” W x 1.75”H). It drops down into the locked compartment. This compartment is always locked, and you’ll be the only one with a key! Your mail will be waiting inside until you’re ready to get it out. No stressing or worrying about getting there quickly!

The M1-LT is pre-drilled on the bottom. 4 holes, 4 5/8” apart, and designed to fit our LT Posts. However, it can also easily be installed on many surfaces: wood, metal, masonry, etc.

The M1-LT has our amazing, thick powder-coating finish to combat all the elements.

Available Upgrades & Accessories

• In Ground Posts or Surface Mount Posts (both 2.5” square) are available
• The M1-LT will come with our 7-pin tubular lock, but you can also upgrade to any of the following:
  • Slam-Lock (for locked up packages)
  • High Security Medeco
  • The Vault Lock EXTREME!
  • Setup for the “Arrow Lock” (post office approval needed)
• Flag. When you add the flag, you’ll receive an extra welded shelf to the top of the door. Outgoing mail is placed on that shelf, and needs to stick out an inch, for the mail carrier to grab. Remember, outgoing mail cannot be locked by postal standards.
