More Information And How They Work:
The mail carrier inserts your incoming mail into the open slot at the top (11.5” W x 1.75” H). The mail drops down into the locked compartment. You are the only one with a key! Your mail awaits you, safe inside.
The Large Standard is pre-drilled on the bottom. 4 holes, 6 ¾” apart, and designed to fit our Large Posts. It can also be mounted to existing surfaces.
The Large Standard has our amazing, thick powder-coating finish to combat all the elements.
The Large Standard is USPS Postmaster General approved.
This is a “Limited Service” Mailbox and set up for incoming mail only. If you need outgoing mail, it is an option, but outgoing mail cannot be locked. When added, this option exposes the mail for the postal carrier to take. It allows for 1-4 envelopes at a time. If you have questions, contact us or view our FAQ page.
Outgoing mail rests below the incoming slot, with an optional outgoing mail capability. Although there is no door concealing the outgoing mail like some of our other mailbox models, outgoing mail is still available.
The body of the mailbox has an overhang that will protect it from vandalism and rain. The door is held closed with an included 7 pin tubular pick-proof lock (upgradable) and incoming mail will rest behind this locked door after the mail carrier drops it in the slot.

I just wanted to let you know that I live in a rural area just outside of LA where there are frequent mailbox thefts. Since my neighbor and I had both of our boxes pried open and mail stolen more than a year ago we decided to purchase your boxes together. Since installing them, we haven’t given a second thought to these crooks. I dare them to try and get into your box! My neighbors regularly report on NextDoor about mail theft, and I recommend and link to your site every time I see a new posting.

Hi, I purchased your large standard box a few years ago because our business street kept getting hit by mail thieves. Last night they struck again, effectively stealing over $3000 in checks from our neighboring businesses. They tried unsuccessfully to get into our box as you can see, but the Fort Knox box did its job! This was well worth the investment and has paid for itself over and over. It just so happened that we had an $11,000 check in our box but the thieves gave up when they realized how tough this box is!! From one business owner to another, I just wanted to say THANK YOU!!

Someone ran over my mailbox last night (along with my four neighbors). I have one of your large standard mailboxes on one of your posts. The completely destroyed my neighbors boxes and tore mine completely out of the ground flinging it approximately 10 feet away. Other than some scrapes and a tweaked baseplate, the box is undamaged. The door swings normally open closed and I’ll plant it back in the ground this afternoon. I just wanted to say thanks for making such a great product!
